Nishi’s Story -                   a little true story . (গল্পটি বাংলা ভাষায় পড়তে , নিচে চলে যান।)👇 It’s deep into the night. Silence wraps everything, as if the night itself is holding its breath, leaning softly against the hills. I open the window and gaze up at the sky—searching for a sliver of crescent moon. But the towering hills hide most of the sky. I feel that if the hills just stepped aside, the moon would peek out and smile. A quiet ache wells up inside my chest. From that ache, I pick up my pen and paper, and a baby poem is born. I name it—“The Shyness of the Night.” I wake up to find my sister-in-law standing with a cup of coffee, a mischievous smile on her lips. Sitting at the breakfast table, she teases me, “So, who’s Nishi?” I laugh and say, “Nishi means the night. And what kind of poet hasn’t fallen in love with the night?” She smiles softly and offers me another cup of...

The Genghis Khan

"The Genghis Khan "

This conqueror of history was born in the steppes or grasslands of Mongolia.  Genghis is thought to have been born in a place called Delun Baldakh, very close to the Burkhan Khaldun Mountains in the Khenti Mountains of northern Mongolia.  It was most probably born in 1162.  It is said that he grew up in the pastures on the banks of the river Onan.

Although he is known around the world as Genghis Khan, the real name of this world conqueror is not Genghis Khan.  His title is "Genghis Khan".  "Temujin" is his real name.  After many battles and bloodshed, when Temujin emerged as the sole ruler of the entire Mongolian steppe in 1206, he was given the title "Genghis Khan".  Which in Bengali means most probably the lord of the whole world or something like that.  Perhaps this is why his ancestral name, Temujin, was lost in the abyss of time to the glory and power of the name Genghis.

Adversity of childhood and early life

Genghis Khan's childhood was eventful.  Genghis's father was a local chieftain.  So aristocracy was born of Genghis Khan.  According to Mongol custom, he was married at the age of twelve to a beautiful girl named Borte.  However, happiness did not last long in the forehead of little Temujin.  On the contrary, this grassland, which is spread over millions of square miles, was divided into different tribes, groups and sub-groups.  There was no government or law.  Gotra or Kabila In tribal society, the customs of the tribe were the ultimate.  There were no police, Kotal or Kazi.  The Eurasian steppe region was inhabited by various Tatar, Turkic and Mongol tribes.  At the time of Genghis's birth, the Tatars had a strong hold on the steppe lands. Genghis's father was a fierce enemy of the Tatars.  According to Mongol tradition, Genghis's father died after drinking poisoned horse milk given to him by the Tatars.

After the death of his father, the people of his tribe did not want to accept the leadership of the young Temujin.  So one by one all the people of the tribe started leaving their families.  This was the most difficult time of Genghis Khan's life.  The boy Genghis had been preparing for the perilous journey of the next life.  The adversity of childhood was building him up for the future.  The harshness of Genghis's character, however, was evident from his childhood.  Temujin, the perfect archer, killed his half-brother when he was only thirteen years old.  The motive for the killing is very small.  Fighting over food sharing.

  Youth and emergence

At the age of 16, Temujin brought home his daughter-in-law, Borte.  In the company of thousands of women in the life of the polygamous Genghis, Borte was actually his first and last love.  Despite being the father of numerous children, he nominated only four sons to be born in Bort's womb.  This love of Borte and Temujin has survived in history to be unique.  Surviving are the four sons of Genghis, born in Bort's womb, named Jochi, Tului, Odegii, and Chughtai Khan.

Whatever he is.  Temujin did not stay with Borte for long.  Within a few days, the separation came again.  Opponents stormed and killed the Temujin clan, as well as Borteke.  In this great danger, Temujin took refuge in his father friend Tughrul Khan.  Tughrul Khan was the head of a powerful clan and the blood brother of Genghis' father.  In the old days, the Mongols used to exchange blood by cutting off their hands.  The Blood Brothers were committed to being faithful to each other for life.  Genghis also sought the help of his own "blood brother" Jamukhara to rescue Borte.  Borteke was finally rescued.  Shortly after his return, Joachim, the eldest son of Genghis, was born in Bort's womb.  But just nine months after Bort was released from the enemy camp, rumors began circulating about Joachim's father's identity.  However, Genghis has always identified Jochi as his own child.

Gradually, Temujin became stronger with the help of Jamukha and Tughrul.  But the ambitious Temujin was preparing to own a larger empire.  He preferred merit to lineage in the army which was contrary to the Mongol tradition and was highly disliked by his blood brother Jamukhara.  Besides, the ultimate goal of both of them was to establish monopoly.  So the conflict between the two became inevitable.  At one point, Temujin's blood brother Jamukha became a fierce enemy of Genghis.  Over time, this conflict of dominance has intensified.

However, we did not have to wait long to get a final settlement.  The most important event in Genghis Khan's life took place around 1206, when Genghis was about 35 years old.  The Mongolian steppe was then divided into two camps.  Genghis led on one side and Jamukha on the other.  The title of Jumkha was then "Gur Khan".  After several battles with Temujin and the defeat of Jamukha, the people of Jamukha handed him over to Genghis.

But the most heinous crime for Genghis Khan was treason.  The consequences of their betrayal of the enemy by the generals of Jammu and Kashmir who handed over the leader in the hope of being rewarded by Genghis were very terrible.  Genghis ordered them all to be boiled in boiling water for the crime of treason.  Jamukha was killed by breaking his back according to the Mongol custom according to his own will.  Although several sources suggest that Genghis did not want to kill Jamukha, Jamukha himself did not want to live with the shame of defeat.  After defeating Jamukha, the rest of the Mongolian tribes began to submit to Genghis.  That same year he was awarded the title of "Genghis Khan".

   State conquest and destruction

After becoming "Genghis Khan", Temujin lived another 21 years, and that was the golden age of his life.  During that time he conquered an area of about 10 million square kilometers in China, India, Europe, India and Asia.  He was succeeded by the Western Jin Empire in 1211, the Axia Empire in 1215, and the mighty Khorazem Empire in 1220.  Besides, the Mongol forces came to the Punjab of India through Afghanistan.  The Caucasus and the Black Sea region were also included in Genghis Khan's empire.  In Europe, Genghis Khan's victory reached Ukraine via Bulgaria.  Surprisingly, Genghis Khan's forces did not gain much momentum to conquer the invincible Russia forever.  Finally, in 1228, the conqueror of the largest empire in the world died.  No one knows where Genghis's tomb is.  Because everyone present at his funeral was killed.  And the heirs of Genghis also kept it a secret.  So to this day the tomb of Genghis is an unknown mystery.

Besides, Genghis Khan did not like to paint his own portrait at all.  So we don't have any real picture of Genghis Khan.  The ones that continue to be his paintings are actually the imagination of the next generation of artists.  He ordered that his life story be recorded in his lifetime, better known as the "Secret Book of Mongols".  In fact, it is the only reliable source to know about the life of this mysterious man.

  Mongol forces brutality

Genghis Khan's conquest of the kingdom was horrendous.  Before conquering a city, the people of that city were ordered to surrender unconditionally.  If they did not accept that, the siege would start, then a sudden attack would be carried out on the starving city dwellers.  None of the men, women and children could escape the brutality of the Mongol forces.  Popular medieval cities like Marv, Beijing, Samarkand were reduced to rubble by the brutality of the Mongol forces.  Urgenz in present-day Turkmenistan was one of the most important cities of the Middle Ages.  That too was completely destroyed by the Mongol forces.  During the conquest of this city of about 1.2 million people, each of the 50,000 soldiers of Genghis's army was assigned to kill an average of 24 innocent people.

The areas attacked by the Mongol forces became depopulated.  Extensive civilizations spanning thousands of square miles would turn into ghost towns.  The ruins of several Central Asian cities still survive as witnesses to the horrors of the Mongol invasion.  It is estimated that some 40 million civilians died during Genghis Khan's expeditions, accounting for about 11 percent of the world's population at that time.

After learning so much about the life story of Genghis Khan, one question that must come to mind is "Where is the place of Genghis in human history then"?

The answer to that question is probably not so simple.  You cannot place in history a mere barbarian, a warlord, a general who has killed billions of innocent people.  Because the rise of Genghis changed the face of the world and started a new chapter.  So no matter how much it is condemned, no one can deny the historical significance of Genghis Khan.  And that is why Genghis has taken place in the history of the world as a terrible synonym of destruction and bloodshed.  But to the Mongols he is still a god.  They are still proud of Genghis Khan.  Genghis is still an inspiration to them.

Genghis Khan.  Many became terrified when they heard the name.  Especially those who have the slightest idea about history.  This Genghis Khan was one of the undefeated generals in the history of the world.  The number of his equivalent generals is only a handful.  Who single-handedly conquered the largest region in the world and who was simultaneously responsible for the deaths of 40 million innocent people.

The life story of Genghis Khan, an unprecedented mix of murder, destruction, power, lust, cunning and maneuvering.  When you hear it, you will think why it is a living movie story.  Today I will learn about the thrilling ups and downs of his life and the unimaginable devastation.

Genghis Khan was a great hero to the Mongols.  The greatness of his work is still held in the hearts of Mongolians.  They think that Genghis Khan not only conquered the world, he also built civilization.  This heroic army is in the hearts of the Mongols.  So they do not want to search for his grave.

Genghis Khan did not like to paint his own portrait.  So there is no real picture of Genghis Khan.  The ones that continue to be his paintings are actually the imagination of the next generation of artists.  He ordered his life story to be recorded in his lifetime.  Which is known as the 'Secret Book of Mongols'.  In fact, it is the only reliable source to know about the life of this mysterious man.

On December 31, 1995, the leading American newspaper, the Washington Post, and the television news channel CNN named Genghis Khan "Man of the Millennium" as the most important figure of the last thousand years.  Modern historians think that his success was far greater than his fault.  Genghis Khan was the founder of the world's largest and most unbroken empire.

At the time of his death in 1228, his empire stretched from the Yellow Sea to Iran, Iraq, and southern Russia.  By 1206, he had united all the small and large tribes of Mongolia and established Greater Mongolia.  Even in this age of free flow of information technology, most of the people of the world know him as one of the most brutal warlords.  There is no doubt that Genghis Khan committed many atrocities

Although Genghis achieved great successes during his lifetime, he did not paint portraits, build monuments, put pictures of himself on coins, write songs or poems about his glory, or name palaces or temples after himself.  When he died, he expressed his desire to be buried in his homeland and forbade the construction of any memorial.

He is the father of the nation of Mars.  From a common man he built a huge army with his own skills.  Although he is known as a very ruthless and bloodthirsty leader.  I was talking about Genghis Khan.  One of the most famous generals and commanders in history.  He united the Mars groups and built the Mars Empire.  He controlled everything around the Pacific Ocean and the Caspian Sea.

Genghis Khan was born sometime between 1150 and 1180.  He spent his childhood learning to ride a horse.  At the age of six, he joined a hunting expedition with his tribe.  Her father was killed as a child.  From then on, Genghis Khan received all the education and initiation from his mother.

According to a Live Science article, the Mars Empire was regionally two and a half times larger than the Roman Empire.  Between the ages of 40 and 50, Genghis Khan founded the nation of Mars and emerged victorious.  From China he learned some of the basics of warfare and diplomacy.  First, the Jin dynasty was defeated.

Occupied West Xia, the Jin Dynasty of northern China, the Khwarizmi Empire of Persia, and parts of Eurasia.  The whole world trembled at his fear.  Throughout his life, this fearless leader has just turned out intoxicated with world victory.

Genghis Khan died at the age of 85.  At that time, he was campaigning against the Chinese state of Xia.  Scientists have given various explanations about his death throughout the ages.  Someone said he fell off a horse and died.  According to some, he died during the search.  There is also evidence that he was killed while fighting.  However, none of them proved to be correct.

There is a story about the death of Genghis.  Genghis Khan was stabbed to death by a princess of the Tangut, a Tibetan-Burmese tribe in northwestern China.

According to another incident, he died of an infected arrow while fighting against the Western Shiites.

After Genghis's death, he was "secretly buried".

Genghis's bereaved army took his body home.  Where he is buried;  All the soldiers were killed so that no one else could go there.

In the end, there is no evidence of Genghis Khan's tomb.

It is a duty to find people who have the slightest idea of history but have not heard the name of Genghis Khan.  He is one of the undefeated generals in the history of the world.  The number of his equivalent generals is only a handful.  Who single-handedly conquered the largest region in the world and who simultaneously is responsible for the deaths of 40 million innocent people.  The life story of Genghis Khan is like a living movie with an unprecedented mix of destruction, murder, cunning, power, greed and maneuvering.  If you don't know about the thrilling ups and downs of his life and the unimaginable devastation, an important chapter of history may remain unknown to you.  So today's feature was arranged with some wonderful information about the life of Genghis Khan.
